Get your beach bags ready!
With the weather warming up already I have already made a trip out to the pool (unfortunately not the beach). Besides using it to carry a towel, I make sure to have my sun tan and sunblock lotion, phone, keys, magazines, and any of that other stuff you might need to keep you busy while lounging around. Straw totes are the typical style beach bag, but plastic and terry cloth are great options too and are super easy to clean.

Whether you have spring break or not, now that we are in the middle of March it is a good time to start stocking up on beach/pool basics. Next week I’ll show you some of the trends in swim wear, so for now here are some basics.
The first and most important is going to be your swimsuit, you always want to make sure you have your go to swimsuit that you has a great fit. If you love wearing bikinis I recommend trying Vix bikinis. Vix comes in an assortment of colors, as well as a full and brazilian bottom, and the tops are also always a great fit whether you are a small or large cup. For those of you that prefer one piece La Blanca is a really good brand for you, I have the one featured above in both black, and blue. La Blanca also makes two pieces as well which work great for those that just want a little more coverage.
Next is the accessories. Sandals, fun colorful bags to carry all your belongings in, and hats, cover-ups, and sunglasses to protect your skin from the sun. There isn’t a better time to use bright colors, fun patterns, and nautical stripes than when heading out to the beach or pool.
