When I first saw the Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 Collection coming down the runway I wasn’t exactly excited over it. I barely wear prints and stripes as it is so I didn’t see myself running out to get a full checkered dress asap. However seeing it on a slew of celebrities has got me singing a different tune on the collection, it just looks so much better on them then the models walking down the runway. I prefer the larger print, like on Kirsten Stewarts romper, or the smaller grey print but they all manage to pull the look off perfectly. They key is to keep everything else toned down, go easy on accessories when wearing such an eye catching print.
Louis Vuitton wasn’t the only one showing checkered for this spring though, Kate Spade, topshop, and tibi had their own take on the checkered trend.
